University Heights Charter School is a public charter elementary school in Newark, NJ. Our mission is to develop in each child the character, scholarship, and leadership necessary for success in life, college, and community. Currently we serve grades K-6 and are growing to serve grades P-8 over the next 2 years. We have been recognized as an EPIC Silver-Gain Award Winner for breakthrough student achievement gains.
