The Save Our Springs Alliance works to protect the Edwards Aquifer, its springs and contributing streams, and the natural and cultural heritage of the Hill Country region of Texas and its watersheds, with special emphasis on Barton Springs.

Texas is at a crossroads. With growing demand, aging infrastructure, and the threat of our continued drought, we are just 15 years and one major drought away from running out of water. This crisis is not inevitable, it's preventable.
