Women's Law and Public Policy Fellowship Program

  • Acerca de

The Women's Law and Public Policy Fellowship Program (WLPPFP) at the Georgetown University Law Center offers one year Fellowships for U.S. law school graduates who are committed to advancing women's rights throughout their careers. The applications are due on October 13th, 2017.

The Fellowships begin in September 2018, and continue through August 2019. The organizational placements are pre-selected by the Fellowship program, and candidates are matched with organizations.

The program includes a placement for a Domestic Violence Clinical Teaching Fellow, who must be admitted to the bar by the July 2018 start date. The deadline for the DV Fellow is November 3rd. Please see the application for more information.

Although each Fellowship experience is unique, each of our fellows work to advance women's rights at a D.C.-based organization, learn together about substantive women’s rights issues, explore a multitude of career paths through which they can advocate for women’s equality, and develop their legal and interpersonal skills through seminars, trainings, networking events and other Fellowship activities.
