Misión
Compassionate Ministries, a ministry of First Church of the Nazarene (PazNaz) is devoted to providing support and assistance to the poor and marginalized in our local and global community through Helping Hands, Church in the Park, Community Partners and Work and Witness trips. We seek to develop relationships with those we encounter and with walk with them through a ministry of presence.

Compassionate Ministries, a ministry of First Church of the Nazarene (PazNaz) strives to incorporate missional work into every day life, along with serving our community on a regular basis. Through the Helping Hands Food Bank, members of the Pasadena, Sierra Madre and Altadena communities are able to come and receive food and clothing every Wednesday from 2-4pm. On Sundays, people who assist with Church in the Park help to make breakfast burritos at 7am, and go to Pasadena's Central Park from 8:15-9:15am to provide a meal for our friends at the park and spend time with them while listening to the Word of God.
