TIAS ARMS

TIAS ARMS is a non-profit, non-denominational organization that believes in providing a dignified, nurturing, and compassionate environment for orphaned or abandoned children affected by HIV/AIDS in South Africa. Our goal also is to comfort these children in their final stages of life.

We provide general funding for a 12 bed orphanage which covers food, cots, bedding, diapers and a salary for loving arms.

In addition we provide a salary for two full time counsellors for children affected by Aids and who have been sexually abused.

Also we provide for a high caloric food program for 65 children and 6 babies.

We provided for an Education Fund for 53 children last year.

We provided for salaries for care-takers to attend to 40 former street children.

We find small groups struggling for funding. We visit these sites at least every other year and stay in active communication with the founders/administrators.
