Built on an ancient shoreline of Lake Michigan, Chicago's oldest house anchors the historic neighborhood of Norwood Park and the offices and museum of the Norwood Park Historical Society. The Norwood Park Historical Society is a member-based organization supported by membership dues, contributions, and fundraising events. Everyone is invited to become a member and participate in programs and special events. The Society's museum at the Noble-Seymour-Crippen House, 5624 N. Newark is open every Saturday from noon to 4 PM or by appointment. School and other groups are welcome. Private rentals are also available.
