Metro Seniors in Action (MSIA) was founded in 1974 by seniors who recognized the need for older adults to be actively involved in issues that directly affect them. Therefore, MSIA’s mission is to organize a broad range of seniors and senior organizations throughout Chicago in order to empower seniors to fight for their rights.
