Food Brigade Inc.

The Food Brigade is a hunger-relief nonprofit charity that operates food distribution centers & food pantries in northern New Jersey. We are a Partner Agency of the Community FoodBank of New Jersey (part of the Feeding America network); a Local Distribution Agency (LDA) for USDA food through TEFAP (the Emergency Food Assistance Program); and an LDA for NJDA food through the State Food Purchase Program. In 2023, The Food Brigade received the Platinum Seal of Transparency from GuideStar/Candid, and was named "Best Nonprofit Organization" by the readers of 201 Magazine.
