Save-A-Pet Adoption Center, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, is one of the largest no-kill rescues in Lake County, Illinois, and one of the very few operating a full-time adoption center. Save-A-Pet provides a safe haven and high quality care for rescued animals, no matter the cost. Thus, Save-A-Pet gives rescued dogs and cats the greatest opportunity at a second chance. Save-A-Pet takes great pride in practicing a no-kill mission and in stewarding our donors’ contributions: both of which have led to the successful adoption of over 40,000 dogs and cats!
