Grand Area Mentoring

Grand Area Mentoring matches promising youth with responsible adult mentors. This small nonprofit is an arm of Grand County School District in Moab, UT. By itself, Grand County School District cannot raise children out of poverty, but we can begin to change the trajectory of at-risk youth by putting positive adults in their lives. That's what we've been doing for the past 13 years through our school and community-based mentoring program. Each year, Grand Area Mentoring recruits and trains adult mentors who support more than 90 youth, aged 6-18. These adults become role models, advocates, and resources.
