Creative Minds Nyc Inc (aka Story Pirates Changemakers)

The mission of Story Pirates Changemakers – the nonprofit arm of The Story Pirates -- is to celebrate the words, ideas, and stories of young people by engaging in creative collaborations between kids and world-class comedians, authors, and musicians. We focus on the disparity of education for underserved students and schools where language arts instructors are not given the time and space for fostering children’s creativity and curiosity. Our aim is to nurture and inspire the big thinkers, dreamers, and creative problem solvers of tomorrow by helping children become confident, creative, literate students, equipped with a variety of tools for written, verbal, and artistic self-expression. Our ultimate goal is to change the way our society responds to and embraces the ideas of kids.
