TCN traces its origins back to 1990 when it was known as The Community Network and was officially incorporated as a 501(c)(3). Over the years the organization has expanded merged and added services and programs. Now we provide substance use and mental health counseling and treatment, psychiatric services, Medication-Assisted Treatment, case management, community support services, crisis, residential treatment and recovery housing, and more. TCN works with both youth and adults. Our service areas are Greene, Montgomery, Miami, Logan and Champaign counties. TCN is also a regional call center for the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline. We have a Domestic Violence center and drop-in center. We have an onsite pharmacy that provides clients and staff immediate access to prescription medications with pick up or delivery to any of our offices.
TCN has revamped our internship program in the past year and recruits with many different schools for which TCN acts as a teaching site. Eligible candidates are placed into roles within the agency that best support the providers, clients and interns. TCN's volunteer program addresses needs within the organization to improve client and staff experiences.
TCN has CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities) accreditation.
