PUPIL - Progress for undeserved pupils through international learning.
PUPIL provides remote on-line tutoring, as supplemental education, at no cost in sciences, mathematics and english to undeserved students in US. This program is currently funded by Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and Infosys Foundation. Hence the service is offered free to around 4000 students in US in grades from 5th to 12th.
The tutoring service is being offered using qualified tutors from India and delivered online.This program has been already piloted last year in US. In the first year of program, it was launched in several schools in Washington DC, Philadelphia, New Jersey and LAs Vegas area.
