Misión
Offering Alternative Therapy with Smiles was founded as a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization in 1997 by Nancy Lee Heussner. Located on 40 acres in Ortonville, Mich., O.A.T.S. and its crew of caring, dedicated and enthusiastic instructors and volunteers provide equine-assisted therapy and a lot of smiles on a weekly basis, to more than 100 children and adults with a wide variety of physical, mental and emotional challenges. Most of our clients live in Oakland County.

By supporting O.A.T.S. program, you are providing individuals with special health and developmental needs a unique form of therapy which allows them the opportunity to improve their quality of life through their interaction with our horses.
