Gaslamp Quarter Association

The mission of the Gaslamp Quarter Association is:

To promote and protect the historic Gaslamp Quarter as San Diego's premier Shopping, Dining and Entertainment District, using advocacy, community relations and promotional programs to present an exciting, sophisticated, world-class destination for the residents of, and visitors to San Diego, for the prosperity of the Association's membership.

As San Diego's premier shopping, dining and nightlife destination, the Gaslamp Quarter is home to the region's most diverse collection of restaurants, retailers and entertainment venues. Representing the 400 businesses spread out across 16+ blocks located in Downtown San Diego, the Gaslamp Quarter Association is the non-profit 501c6 merchants association of the Gaslamp Quarter. With over 100 restaurants and entertainment venues and more than 100 boutiques, spas and salons, fine art galleries and artisan shops, the Gaslamp Quarter offers countless opportunities to indulge, entertain and amuse even the most discerning visitor.

The district’s 90+ historic buildings have placed the community on the National Registry of Historic Places, and creates the breathtaking backdrop for the Gaslamp Quarter Association’s community events hosted throughout the year, including the Taste of Gaslamp, Fifth Avenue Auto Showcase, Gaslamp Holiday Pet Parade, Poinsettia Bowl Gaslamp March, and Dash & Dine Gaslamp 5K (a portion of the proceeds to benefit Armed Forces YMCA).
