Yazda is a global Yazidi organization that strives to bring justice, sustenance, healing and rejuvenation to Yazidis who have suffered under, and continue to be affected by, the genocidal campaign against their people by the so-called Islamic State in Syria and Iraq (ISIS).
On 01 August 2019 in Baghdad Yazda launched "Nobody's Listening", a groundbreaking virtual reality experience and immersive exhibition, to commemorate the Yazidi genocide. Attached to the exhibition is an advocacy campaign that aims to build public awareness, and to refocus international attention on the need to hold ISIS to account for their crimes against Yazidis, Christians and other religious minorities.
