Congregation B'nai Israel (CBI) in Millburn, NJ

Reaching in to its members and reaching out to the community, CBI is a traditional, inclusive, egalitarian, multigenerational community.  The synagogue offers compelling social action, educational, and religious programming to serve a diverse cross-section of Conservative Jews.  Congregation B’nai Israel enjoys a unique interconnectedness between caring and accessible staff and knowledgeable and active congregants.

 

Synagogue membership (approx. 475+ family units) is growing!  We are home to a warm, nurturing preschool (Hedwig Gruenewald Early Childhood Center) and Religious school (K-12). We offer two daily minyans, three vibrant youth groups, relevant adult learning, supportive Men’s Club and Sisterhood organizations, congregational choir and instrumental band, engaging family enrichment, Israel awareness and connectivity, as well as meaningful social action activities within our congregation, local community and across the country.
