At SBP, we eliminate unnecessary suffering by helping those affected by disasters to rebuild and recover. By cultivating resilience before disasters occur and streamlining the post-disaster recovery process, we’re able to lessen the amount of time people experience stress and trauma.
Acerca de
SBP is a nonprofit organization, rebuilding homes for low to moderate income families affected by Hurricane Sandy in Rockaway and southern Brooklyn. In 2015, SBP rebuilt 74 homes and engaged with over 4,000 volunteers. Additional SBP affiliates are working on the ground in New Orleans, LA; Monmouth & Ocean Counties, NJ; San Marcos, TX; and Columbia, SC to bring families home in a prompt, efficient and predictable manner.
