Giving Kitchen

Giving Kitchen, a James Beard award-winning nonprofit headquartered in Atlanta, Ga., serves those who serve us every day: We help food service workers! We do so by providing financial assistance as well as access to our Stability Network of resources. Since inception, GK has served over 20,000+ food service workers in need and has awarded around $13 million in financial assistance. Our Stability Network connects food service workers in crisis to resources that they may have not been aware of, such as mental health professionals, housing and utilities, employment and to low or no-cost health and wellness resources and much more.

Giving Kitchen is a quickly growing organization with multi-regional and national expansion on the horizon. As a respected organization in our community and industry, our impact has been recognized both locally and nationally, including having received numerous awards, such as the Georgia Restaurant Association Industry Partner of the Year, The Center for Civic Innovation’s Civic Impact Award, the prestigious James Beard Foundation’s Humanitarian of the Year Award and recipient of the Fast Company Brands That Matter Award in 2022. GK has also earned a Gold GuideStar rating, Better Business Bureau Wise Giving Alliance Accreditation and a 100 of 100 seal from Charity Navigator.
