Voluntario Global is Civil Association based in Buenos Aires.

The programme works in different areas:

SEEING, UNDERSTANDING, UNCOVERING…

There is a reality different from that shown in tourist guides. A Buenos Aires with a pulse. A pulse that is worth listening to…

All of the Latin American capital cities are surrounded by shanty towns: the favelas in Brazil, the cantegriles in Uruguay, the villas miseria or villas de emergencia in Argentina.

We also work in La Boca, where workers took job security into their own hands following the social and economic crisis of 2001 - reoccupying factories and re-establishing abandoned businesses.

You can visit and participate in our programmes in two different locations, at Villa Soldati and La Boca.

Be a volunteer for one day, or participate in long term programmes.
