Gold Coast Forum

The Gold Coast Book Fair is a community literary event taking place May 16–17, 2026 in Downtown Oyster Bay and at LIU Post on Long Island. It is produced by the Gold Coast Forum and brings together readers, authors, and local organizations for a weekend celebrating books and storytelling.

The event features over 150 authors across genres including history, mystery, romance, sports, politics, and children’s/YA literature. Programming includes author panels, book signings, and discussions with featured speakers and headliners.

The fair also includes a vendor marketplace, independent author pavilion, food trucks, and dedicated children’s and young adult activities. Admission is free to the public, with some select events requiring tickets.

The goal of the event is to promote literacy, support authors, and create an accessible, community-centered literary experience for Long Island residents.
