FYSSO Ghana

FYSSO Ghana is a non-governmental organisation which started its operation in 2001 in the Volta Region, Sogakofe to be precise.

Our main aim is to help the rural poor and the less privileged in the community. Our areas of operation includes:- girl child and needy student education, agricultural development and food security, water resources management and sanitation, rural health and community nutrition, micro-enterprise development, persons with disability project.

Our primary mission is to help the pro-poor and minorities by improving their socio-economic welfare and cultural identity in rural communities of Ghana.

Our partners are PPAG, IOM, Geneva Global, SEND Foundation, Plan –Ghana, District Assembly, Social Welfare Department, Civic Unions, Ghana AIDS Commission, Ministries and government departments, Local Radio and Television Station, other NGOs, Volunteers and so on.

We hope in collaboration with other international NGOs, we can bring a smile on the faces of the rural poor and the less privileged in the community.

FYSSO is ready to collaborate with all individuals, private sector and civil societies which are interested in bringing relief and hope to the pro-poor and as well help to take development in Lower River Basin to a much-higher level.
