Hope in the Harvest

Vision: Generating Christ-centered economic growth.

Mission: Our mission is to seek to cultivate Christ’s hope in underdeveloped and impoverished areas of the world through agricultural and personal transformation. Building on borrowed talent, we seek to impact attitudes and practices that will promote the economic and social well-being of individuals, from a conviction that a changed life results from a Christ-changed heart.

Areas of Work: Liberia, West Africa (more to come)

Projects:

1. Teaching agriculture classes at Liberia International Christian College (LICC)
2. Overseeing a research/demonstration farm that is used to train college students at LICC as well as local farmers, high schoolers, churches, and other agricultural organizations
3. Developing a vocational training program for women in the community at LICC
4. Mentoring and providing support to local agribusinesses- such as Redimere Chocolate (https://web.facebook.com/Redimere-Chocolate-748548592229968/) which is Liberia's first and only locally made chocolate company.
5. Farming God's Way outreach with local churches (teaching sustainable agriculture alongside the Bible)
