WORC 4 HOPE INC

Worc4Hope Inc. provides personal development with a focus on U.S. Veterans and Non Violent Ex-offenders in the Pinellas County area. We offer life skills training to equip individuals with the social and interpersonal skills that enable them to cope with the demands of everyday life. The objectives of this training are to build self-confidence, encourage critical thinking, foster independence and help people to communicate more effectively while transitioning back into today’s society. This is accomplished by offering job skills classes, mentorship programs, grief recovery (depression), Drug prevention and nutrition classes. These activities have resulted in improved personal choices which develop more productive citizens and Neighbors. Our Health initiatives include free health screenings, panel discussions with local Physicians and Dentists, healthy eating education/information, and much needed exercise programs. Our Community programs include Easter Baskets provided to local Churches, Free Haircuts by local Barbers, and free toys to kids at Christmas. Our programs continue to touch the lives of many families within the central Florida area.
