Custom Collaborative

Custom Collaborative is a New York City social enterprise assisting women from low-income and immigrant communities earn fair wages in the fashion industry through a training institute, incubator, and worker-owned cooperative. Our work enables participants to support themselves and to meet other women’s need for clothing that fits their bodies. Participants overcome barriers to employment, and ultimately, change the economics of the apparel industry.
