End FGM Canada Network

The End FGM Canada Network is a non-partisan group of individuals and organizations working to end female genital mutilation in Canada and abroad. We focus on urging the Canadian government to acknowledge that FGM/C is an issue here too, and to create a National Action Plan to support survivors and to protect girls at risk in Canada. In addition, we work to encourage the Canadian government to take a lead internationally and focus more development aid to end FGM/C/. To do this, we bring together out members and other stakeholders to collectively influence the policies and practices of the Canadian government.
