We are a UK registered charity Virtual Development UK, and run The Virtual Doctor Project, Africa - using the local mobile broadband network in Zambia to connect rural health centre staff with volunteer doctors around the world, for diagnostic and treatment advice. This aims to improve the primary health care in communities and reduce the amount of unnecessary mortality and number of referrals to distant hospitals.
