HANDY's mission is to embrace, educate and empower vulnerable youth to become engaged, productive adults. HANDY's vision is to save lives, change lives and make dreams come true for at-risk youth. Annually, HANDY serves more than 1,200 children and youth who have been abused, neglected and/or abandoned, ages birth to 25 years, reaching out a hand almost 15,000 times. Of that population, HANDY's LIFE program (Life skills, Independent living, Foundation building, and Education/Employment) annually serves just over 400 middle, high school and college aged youth. Additionally, 800 children/youth receive assistance with emergency needs of food and clothing, back to school supplies and clothes and/or holiday gifts.
