​MRC is a registered 501(c)(3), tax-exempt organization. As such, donations made to MRC and its member charities are tax deductible. Every effort is made to ensure that the maximum amount of a donor’s gift goes directly to fund research.

We rigorously screen research-driven charities and only select those organizations that meet our thorough review process. Our goal is to assure donors that their contributions will directly support medical research that makes a difference in the lives of patients and their families.

Medical Research Charities’ admission requirements go beyond those of the CFC and include an annual review of each applicant charity’s overhead, percentage of revenue devoted to program expenses, amount dedicated to research, fundraising percentage, CEO compensation and more. To us, integrity matters.
