About Us: Sostento is a nonprofit consultancy for frontline public health workers. Our mission is to alleviate public health workers' toughest challenges so they can save more lives. 

How we work: We run initiatives, build networks, and deliver digital tools and services in response to public health emergencies.We start with hardcore listening and always design solutions with the end user. When we find unique solutions that work in one place, we seek to amplify that impact to other response groups that are facing the same challenge.

Our (amazing)Team: We are doers, designers, tech developers and public health experts. We are a small but mighty team of 15 full time staff and 5 consultants, who are remote and live across the country.

Origin Story: Our founder spent over 15 years battling disease outbreaks and public health emergencies around the world with digital technology. He founded Sostento in 2019 to take lessons learned from around the world to assist frontline health workers in the United States responding to the opioid crisis. When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, the Sostento team sprung into action to support the prevention, testing, and vaccination efforts of free and charitable clinics nationwide.
