The Catalyst for Educational Change (CEC) is a national nonprofit 501 (c) (3) organization with a strong mission to impact the organizational capacity that school systems need to truly push beyond the status quo. Our headquarters is located in Chicago, Illinois with all staff and consultants located remotely across the United States. We are an educational consulting firm that supports public, charter, and private school systems in improving equitable, evidence-based practices in schools. We use strong change management practices and deep collaboration with all stakeholders to help educational systems build internal capacity, create better outcomes, communicate with and among each other, and rethink how we operate our schools.

CEC knows a collaborative culture and capacity building approach are the requirements for any educational improvement effort. This stance prepares the system to receive the innovation and adapt to alternative behaviors. Without a strong collective foundation, educational systems tend to revert back to past practices once the attention is removed from the intervention. The CEC approach stops that cycle by creating an environment designed for lasting impact. CEC brings your innovations and improvements to scale and sets the conditions for future improvements. We are the implementation specialists schools need to get to long-term outcomes.

Complex social change requires organized and sustained effort across sectors, among participants, and responsive to the unique context.
