People Acting Together in Howard (PATH)

People Acting Together in Howard (PATH) is a broad-based, community power organization dedicated to making Howard County and the State of Maryland a place where everyone can thrive. We work to build relationships with community members to engage in meaningful civic participation. We win our victories by meeting community members face-to-face, listening to understand the issues that are of concern to our neighbors, and identifying and developing leaders to seek justice and social change in their communities through holding elected and corporate officials accountable.

PATH listened to 700 community members across our member institutions. Their stories informed our 2026-2030 “People’s Agenda,” which will guide us as we create a stronger, more inclusive democracy where everyone’s voice is heard. Our agenda addresses the top issues keeping our neighbors, their families, and their communities from thriving: affordable housing, immigrants' rights, opportunities for youth, access to healthcare, food security, and racial and economic justice.
