Acerca de

The Bragg Hill Family Life Center was founded in 1997 with the motto “We Build People.” The Center’s building was once a detention center but now stands as a symbol of hope rather than of bondage, of community gain rather than pain. The Center’s mission is to provide assistance to the area’s at-risk youth and economically deprived citizens with special emphasis on total growth and development of the community. The Center’s services include adult and senior programs, a food pantry, emergency and holiday assistance, and several annual events including Community Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas community dinners, and basketball tournaments. The BHFLC’s afterschool program H.E.L.P. (Homework Educational Learning Program) has existed for over 12 years and has provided more than 600 children with academic assistance and the opportunity to participate in sports, arts and other engaging activities under the supervision of caring adults. As a valued program provider serving mostly low-income families, the BHFLC provides families a safe, fun and enriching haven for their children.
