The mission of Hospice of the Chesapeake is to provide physical, psycho-social and spiritual support services to individuals living with and affected by advanced illness. These services are provided wherever the patient calls home.

We always provide the best possible care for all regardless of their inability to pay. We strive to improve the quality of life for those in our communities experiencing advanced illness or bereavement through hospice and other palliative care, compassionate support and education. 

HoC is a non-profit, community-based agency with locations in both Prince George's and Anne Arundel County. We have been providing quality services for over 30 years.

HoC is licensed, accredited by the Joint Commission, and have been awarded the Maryland Association on Non-Profit Organization's Seal of Excellence for successfully completing the Standards for Excellence program. The award is based on commitment to excellence in governance, clinical service and financial management; a distinction earned by fewer than 5% of non-profit organizations in Maryland. The Maryland Association of Nonprofit Organizations representatives offered congratulations to Hospice of the Chesapeake for being "a true leader in your commitment to ethics and accountability in the nonprofit sector."
