We are committed to breaking the chains of suburban poverty by building a community of dedicated, caring people working together to end suburban poverty while restoring hope and livelihood to those experiencing it.
Acerca de
SECOR (Southeast Community Outreach) started as a food pantry and Christmas Outreach program within Southeast Community Church in the 1990's. By 2006, it had grown enough to support it's own 501c3 designation and became a separate organization. As suburban poverty and the need grew, SECORcares expanded from a free food market to the Food for Thought program (backpack meals for students and their families) and now the mobile market, bringing food and hope to communities throughout Douglas, Arapahoe and Elbert counties. In late 2019, we moved into a brand new space and continue to grow to meet the needs of our community.
