The Division of Family Planning and Preventive Services is part of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Columbia University Medical Center. Our staff members divide their time between providing obstetric and gynecological services to the surrounding community, teaching the next generation of doctors and epidemiologists at the University’s medical and public health schools, and implementing research to improve reproductive health. All of the research at the Division of Family Planning and Preventive Services is patient-centered and is designed to bring the newest contraceptive methods and other preventive services to patients as quickly as possible.
