The Educational Community for Homeowners (ECHO) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing education and resources for California homeowner associations, in particular their Boards of Directors. ECHO has over 1,400 Common Interest Development (CID) members and 400 professional members; annually conducts two Trade-Show Seminars, eight Educational Seminars and over 40 Resource Panel meetings; publishes a monthly magazine with a circulation over 8,000; advocates good public policy for CIDs in Sacramento; and provides a plethora of information, advice and statutes relating to CID management on its website (echo-ca.org). ECHO has a very small staff in San Jose working closely together to advance the mission of the organization.
