Center for Educational Improvement

The Center for Educational Improvement (CEI) focuses on innovations in schools using the latest research findings to assist school leaders as they work to improve their schools. Since its inception in 2009, CEI has provided research- and data-driven technical assistance to improve students’ educational experiences and assist schools in making great gains by:

• Improving the quality of teaching
• Helping schools and teachers replicate the best educational practices
• Strengthening school leadership and management
• Using 21st Century knowledge and technology to increase student engagement and learning
• Providing supports for Early Career Principals
• Building school capacity
• Building Compassion in Schools
• Adding STEAM (Science, Tech., Engineering, Art & Math) to the curriculum

CEI’s method is to collaborate with a team of educational leaders who are experienced in delivering effective professional development and guidance to school principals and teacher leaders. Program areas include school leadership, professional development, teacher effectiveness, data-driven instruction, and student learning.
