Based in Tucson, Arizona, the organization was founded in 1984 to address the health needs of border populations. Since then NCHP has developed a strong national presence providing education and services to minority and underserved populations in 46 states and three U.S. territories.
In June of 2010, the Border Health Foundation launched a national campaign promoting June 27 as National HIV/AIDS Testing Day.

In 2010, Border Health Foundation (BHF) changed its name to National Community Health Partners (NCHP) to reflect the expansion and scope of its services.
We have housed over 70 public health programs and services. NCHP is dedicated to promoting the health and well-being of individuals and communities across the U.S.
