Global Campuses Foundation

The mission of Global Campuses Foundation, GCF, is to participate with persons of differing abilities worldwide to develop campus environments for advanced learning. Key to GCF's mission is valuing the voice and full participation of adults with disabilities. By creating a campus environment that honors and recognizes the experience of disability, GCF provides participants with the opportunities for social engagement, creative expression and formal learning.

A key curriculum strategy of GCF is to use the process of developing a campus as a tool for learning. Participants become the staff, faculty and students of the campus and grow personally and professionally as they influence the design of their program offerings. GCF is based on a college model, offering a fall and spring semester as well as summer and winter interims of study.
