The Centre for Law and Policy Research (CLPR) is a not-for-profit trust that was started in 2009. The Centre was established in recognition of the need to have a legal research organisation dedicated to the rule of law and defense of constitutional values.
We are dedicated to making the Constitution work through law and policy research, social and governance interventions and strategic impact litigation for women and girls, people with disabilities, gender and sexual minorities, and oppressed class and castes.
We are committed to an advocacy strategy that is grounded in core constitutional and liberal human rights values, which further the interests of the community we represent.
