Centro Integrado de Apoio a Crianças e Adolescentes de Comunidades

CIACAC is a grassroots non-profit organization, born in September 2001 and officially registered in March 2005.

Created to answer the absence of specific spaces and activities for children living in poor communities and exposed to the risk of social violence, CIACAC provides activities involving culture, education, leisure and citizenship, as well as community and social support.

Our goal is to develop and stimulate the abilities of children and teenagers in our community and to encourage behavior that promotes children’s best interests.

Locally run and community based, our organization is well positioned to reach children where they live and play and to provide opportunities for them to grow, learn, and thrive.

CIACAC has served over 800 youth in 11 years of existence.
