Help for Haiti (H4H) was founded by Jim and Betsy Willey in 2010 in response to the historic earthquake that devastated most of the country. A Christian 501(c)3 charity, H4H was created specifically to feed and educate children in the northeast area of Haiti. We operate two schools and serve 500 children by providing them a high-quality education, a hot meal every school day and access to a job upon graduation. The schools are in the urban city of Cap-Haïtien and in the rural mountain town of Marmalade in northern Haiti. H4H also created The Fulton Center for Entrepreneurs. This center trains adults in business skills, works with them to develop their business plans, and provides low-interest loans to launch their businesses.
