Courageous Sailing transforms lives through sailing programs that inspire learning, personal growth and leadership. Our Youth Programs strive to prepare Boston's diverse youth for confident and responsible futures through the active discovery of sailing on their city's harbor.

Courageous Sailing is a community that embraces sailing as a platform for life-long learning, personal growth and leadership; a center of sailing excellence committed to removing barriers to access for all Boston youth, the public and people with physical and intellectual challenges.

Courageous Sailing Center was established in 1987 as a public charity designed to provide every child of Boston the opportunity to learn the sport of sailing regardless of his or her family's ability to pay. Courageous has since hrown into a dynamic, multifaceted educational and recreational facility. Courageous programs teach children a challenging new activity, life skills of effective leadership and communication, as well as an appreciation of our surrounding environment.
