Inner Activist

The Inner Activist is a leadership education program that is part of a global movement rooted in social justice, equity, self-awareness and our place in nature. Our comprehensive curriculum integrates traditional leadership tools from seven innovative approaches. We then go beyond these approaches to facilitate the unpredictable, powerful learning that happens in community when we work on our own diversity and conflicts in moment-to-moment relationships. We provide change makers new tools to transform intractable problems, deeply value diversity in all its forms and lead with authenticity and compassion.

We offer three five-day retreat style courses currently hosted at the Haven on Gabriola Island, British Columbia. The topics currently offered are Building Personal Mastery, Building Strong and Respectful Relationships and Conscious Use of Power. Inner Activist is a project on Tides Canada's shared platform.
