By providing an oasis with simple beauty, comfort, and nourishing conversations, Simplicity Learning is a haven and an antidote to a world that would have children grow up too fast. In our calm and secure setting, parents, teachers and caregivers have the gift of a few hours of time and space to explore what comes from within them, as opposed to what comes at them. Our staff are here to offer insights and guidance regarding some specific and practical parenting and teaching skills, and creative alternatives when you know what you wish to avoid in your parenting, but aren’t quite sure what to do instead!

We hope that you will feel right at home at Simplicity Learning. We exist to help you determine the most developmentally-appropriate expectations for each child, the appropriate timing for introducing the skills that you value most, and a sensible balance between adult authority and each child’s increasing responsibility for making individual choices.

Simplicity Learning offers workshops, classes and coaching sessions for caregivers, co-parents, and teachers to support slowing down for intentional child-rearing, increasing time in nature, decreasing electronic screen time, protecting childhood, and co-creating more peaceful home life and classroom environments.
