New Hope Community Ministries

Mission: Through the love of Christ, we build restorative relationships with individuals and families in our community, empowering them to move from crisis to self-sufficiency.

New Hope Community Ministries strives to serve the community members of Prospect Park, Haledon, North Haledon, and Hawthorne, NJ. We do this through a variety of holistic programs:

• Food pantry
• MarketPlace (School Supply Depot and Christmas Market)
• Counseling (individual, couples, families)
• Mentoring
• Children of Hope/Voices of Hope
• Women of Hope
• VITA Tax Prep
• ESL Classes
• New Hope Teen Leaders

Vision: New Hope envisions a transformed community where individuals and families are safe, strong, self-sufficient, and experiencing God’s grace; where neighbors are reconciled racially, socially, and economically; and where people put aside their differences to work together to meet needs, affirm strengths, and develop leaders.
