Objectives and Values of Altair
Altair promotes the creation and support of educational groups for free time activities in Spain and abroad, fostering a social model based on cooperation, mutual growth, and fair development. It encourages volunteering to promote social inclusion, equity, and gender equality. The educational project, aimed at children, youth (8-20), and young volunteers, is based on principles of comprehensive, free, participative, active, respectful, and innovative education. Altair fosters education for peace, non-violence, and peaceful conflict resolution. It promotes environmental awareness and health through physical activity in nature. Social services are provided through voluntary commitment, defending cultural identity while respecting dignity and the environment. The organization works to strengthen civil society and participative democracy, applying the values of its Constitutional Charter.
