Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center unites comprehensive care and advanced research to provide the latest cancer treatment options and accelerate discoveries that prevent, treat and defeat cancer and infectious diseases worldwide. An independent, nonprofit organization, Fred Hutch also serves as UW Medicine’s cancer program. This relationship allows for enhanced care coordination with one of the world’s leading integrated health systems.

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center will accelerate the development, evaluation, and use of new cancer discoveries and treatments and will offer patients greater access to clinical trials, bringing research and clinical care closer together. For current patients the superior care you have come to expect from us will continue uninterrupted. For example, as part of the transition to Fred Hutch there will be no changes to your doctor or care team. Over the longer term, this update to our structure will enable us to improve patients’ care experiences and increase integration across your care team.
