Boys & Girls Clubs of Dundee Township

In 2020, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Dundee Township (BGCDT) unveiled the Impact Center, a new and innovative High School Program Facility. The Impact Center provides comprehensive and collaborative afterschool programming for up to 150 high school students. Life Coaches provide a fun, safe environment for teen members as well as proven teen development strategies that include compelling experiences.

The Impact Center understands the value of matching teens with Life Coaches/Mentors who can help them achieve their goals. Coaches at the Impact Center work hard to get to know and understand each teen member. Coaches recognize that diversity enriches our relationships, our community, and our pursuit of excellence. The Impact Center envisions a community in which everyone is engaged and has a positive and meaningful experience.

The Impact Center's main purpose is to help teens prepare for the workforce; Life Coaches work with teens to identify and develop their skills and interests, as well as create a customized career pathway plan for each member. Impact Center Coaches work with teens to support and strengthen their passions while also preparing them for their futures beyond high school, whether it is college prep or technical workforce. Our program's purpose is for participants to be sought-after candidates and well-prepared for post-secondary success, benefiting not just their own futures but also the futures of our community, nation, and world.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Dundee Township is one of the largest Boys & Girls Clubs organizations in the state of Illinois. In partnership with our local school districts, we serve over 2,000 Club members throughout the year with after school programming, summer programs and athletic leagues. In response to the COVID 19 Pandemic, we have been safely operating Emergency Childcare Centers and Summer Day Camp Programs. The After-school Enrichment program will provide a safe, digitally accessible, and supervised facility for children to attend their School Site, as well as participate in fun after-school activities. We are looking for program leaders who want a team-oriented and rewarding work environment to help children be supported and successful.
